Arild Gustavsen is the director of The Research Centre on Zero Emission Buildings (ZEB) and a Professor in building physics at the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Art, NTNU. He holds a MSc degree in environmental physics and a PhD degree in building physics. Previously he has worked as a senior research scientist at SINTEF Building and Infrastructure and a visiting researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research interests include heat, air and moisture transfer in building envelope systems, development and application of new materials in building assemblies, and energy use in new and existing buildings.
