Johan H Andresen is a Norwegian businessman and investor. He is the owner and chairman of FERD, the Norwegian industrial and financial group. FERD’s activities includes long term ownership of strong, international companies like Swix, Elopak and Interwell. The group changed its name to FERD in 2001 after restructuring its activities into five business areas. However, the history of the company dates back to 1778 and it has been owned by the Andresen family since 1849.

In recent years Andresen has built up his and FERD’s reputation to become one of the largest players in the Norwegian fields of social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in general.
